In broilers and pullets Tylovet premix is indicated for the treatment and prevention of respiratory infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae and necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens.
Flavomycin® 8% Reg. No. G3680 (Act 36 of 1947) and Flavomycin® 0.8% Reg. No. G1203 (Act 36 of 1947)
Flavomycin® contains Flavophospholipol – one of the most active substances inhibiting murein biosynthesis. Specifically, the enzyme glyconsyltransferase, that plays an essential role in the synthesis of the cell wall of Gram-positive bacteria. This enzyme cannot distinguish between flavophospholipol and the natural nurein compound, preventing murein synthesis from taking place. Damage to the murein layer causes cells to burst. Thanks to the action of Flavomycin® the desirable lactobacilli and bifidobacteria remain unharmed. Flavomycin® is therefore effective at very low doses, improving weight gain and feed efficiency in broiler chickens.
